# Ownership & Asset Management

Ownership within a DAO is determined by the **proportionate distribution of voting shares**, which are linked to token investments. Third-party asset managers can be elected through majority voting, ensuring that governance remains in the hands of token holders, while providing transparency and accountability in asset management.
