Voting Rights & Governance

Investors holding voting tokens have the right to participate in governance. These tokens are represented with a "–v" suffix (e.g., NYC1-v) and allow holders to:

  • Vote: Influence decisions on asset management, secondary offerings, and other critical issues.

  • Nominate Third-Party Representatives: Vote on or nominate verified third-party managers to oversee asset operations.

Voting on key issues is carried out through actionable proposals. For example, Secondary Token Offerings (STOs) allow the creation of additional tokens to raise funds for projects, with safeguards in place:

  • Tokens are locked in escrow and reversible if predefined targets and deadlines are not met.

  • STOs require majority approval from token holders to proceed, ensuring that decisions are made transparently and with broad consensus.
